Reference Festival - A 24-HOUR FESTIVAL FOR CREATIVITY IN THE INFINITE PRESENT

For 24 hours, REFERENCE BERLIN revived an abandoned car park in Berlin's buzzing creative neighbourhood of Neukölln. Surrounded by graffiti, the festival proved to integrate into its environment, while presenting a space that's open and bare of connotations. Participants included, 032c, Comme des Garcons, OrtaMiklos and Hans Ulrich Orbrist amongst others.

Bocci’s immersive light installation 44.36, a site-specific commission for Reference Festival 2019 comprised of over 36 free-poured aluminium forms resulting from a specialized fabrication technique which are suspended from the ceiling by a matrix of thin cables.
