100 Process
The 100 series explores the intersection of glassblowing and performance through a choreographed process. Multiple glassblowers work in unison to shape and fuse clear glass spheres into a complex, interlocking cluster. This methodical coordination, combined with the malleability of the glass, results in a dynamic formation.
Once the glass has hardened, a diamond saw is used to reveal the intricate interplay of inner and outer surfaces. An LED light source embedded in the center interacts with the varying thicknesses of the glass, creating a nuanced illumination that emphasizes the structural complexity of the series and the orchestrated movement behind its creation.
