The 73 series transforms the texture of woven, ceramic-infused textiles into molten glass forms. Inflated within the textile moulds, the glass captures the intricate patterns and subtle textures of the textile, preserving them in solidified shapes.
Each piece features a soft, diffused glow that highlights its organic, textured surface. The custom hardware enhances the asymmetric composition of the design, creating a sense of lightness as the pieces seem to gently hover in cloud-like forms. The 73 series reflects Bocci's innovative approach to blending materiality with craftsmanship, resulting in unique, visually engaging, cloud-like forms.
