Bocci Opens The Foundry in Berlin
Bocci has officially debuted The Foundry, its 11,840 sq ft space located within an early twentieth-century brick warehouse that is part of Wilhelm Hallen, a former cast iron factory situated in Berlin’s Reinickendorf neighborhood. As a forum for cultural and creative exchange, The Foundry underscores Bocci’s continued commitment to Berlin, a city where the brand has been an integral part of the cultural and design landscape for years.
More than just a physical space, The Foundry represents Bocci’s ongoing dialogue with both the local and global creative communities. Engineered to be highly versatile, the space can transform into a variety of creative and commercial environments – from small commission projects to large exhibitions, film sets, photography studios, rental spaces and other unique moments. The Foundry is a forward-looking space that invites creative exploration and interaction. Its adaptability will support a wide array of functions, furthering Bocci’s role in shaping the future of design and culture in the city.
For the occasion of Hallen #5 Art Festival, the art fair co-founded by Bocci, The Foundry will present 87.244, a special lighting installation by Bocci, in addition to its inaugural exhibition Unexpected Guests 2, a showcase featuring the glassworks of Valentina Cameranesi Sgroi and the floral compositions of Lilo Klinkenberg.
