14p Launch Campaign

For the launch of the 14p, Bocci’s first portable light, we partnered with Alexander May to create a campaign that introduces the portable light through a series of simple, composed scenes. May’s visual language highlights the clarity and softness of the cast-glass form, presenting the 14p in a way that feels immediate and approachable. His images focus on the qualities that define the series: subtle irregularities in the glass, soft refractions, and the quiet presence the piece brings into a space.

Throughout the collaboration, May worked closely with the studio to develop a visual tone that feels consistent with Bocci’s design philosophy. The process centered on restraint and close attention to material, resulting in imagery that reads clearly and without excess. Each composition is straightforward, allowing the 14p to remain the primary point of focus. The campaign offers an accessible introduction to the 14p, emphasizing its scale, its portability, and its familiar connection to the original 14 series. Through May’s lens, the light is presented with a sense of ease and clarity, offering viewers a direct understanding of the piece and the atmosphere it creates.
