Duality

Vancouver-based artist Jennifer Latour, constructs imagined flora, forms that layer and connect in the logic of living systems. The Stem series, Bocci's system for holding and organising light in space, is a linear armature that branches and extends by the same logic. For Duality, a collaboration between Bocci and Latour, she developed a new body of work conceived alongside the 28 Stem, the colours and structure of each finding their echo in the other. 

Together they share a grammar, colour gathers across surfaces and shifts as it expands. Structure extends, branches, changes direction.

Connection is what shapes them both.
